The Moral Support Letters

Well well...AOL has a way of telling people who wish to exercise the First Ammendment Rights they can override it.  AOL tried that on me awhile back, and when I threatened a lawsuit over it, they backed down real quick!

If I were you, I would have a little chat with them regarding this and see what happens next!

Good luck, and keep me posted

No shit!!  They threw you off the beta testing team?  Why?  Because you told the truth about a product that was pushed onto the unsuspecting public before all the kinks were worked out so the Jobs could make a great showing at the computer convention?  It is not like your releasing programing or something.  You would think that they would care more about their online family then to foist a product onto the unknowledgable.  I could say more, but I would probably get blasted too.  Hang Tough...

Dear Dan:

Fortunately (or maybe unfortunately), I downloaded 6.0 before I saw your intelligent and well-written warning.  So far I have been lucky.  The only problem which bothers me somewhat is that I cannot see the BPS at which I connect when I sign on.  I guess I can live with that.

Before I downloaded 6.0, I sent myself an e-mail containing all my favorite places and also all the info in my Address Book.  Can't be too careful!  My Address book came through the procedure intact, but my favorite places seemed to have been lost.  Thank heavens for my e-mail which was waiting for me when I signed on to 6.0!

I used to be a beta tester, too, but stopped because I was running short of room on my hard drive.  Recently, I upgraded to a 8 gig hard drive, but just didn't bother to go back to beta testing.  AOL has really missed the boat by revoking your beta-testing privileges.  You are intelligent and honest, a commodity rarely found among today's technological experts.

Hi Dan,

I am so sorry to hear that.

I sure thought that AOL would be big
enough to take some constructive criticism,
GUESS NOT huh?

WE all loose do that their poor judgement
in that decision... unfortunate...

I wish there were something that I could
do to help you out...

But, please know that I do care that this
has happened to you.. cuz it does affect us all.
Please take care and have a Happy Halloween...

Hugs Jane

Thank You Jane!
