I switched from 5 to 6 and the only problem I have seems to be that I cant open too many things at once - not even e-mails.  I freeze up too often.  I dont really like the configuration of the tool bar - but thats sort of petty i guess.  Otherwise I guess it's ok.  5.0 just seemed to be more user friendly.

I downloaded it last evening... and have done the normal things with my computer so far that I would normally do... have restarted, turned it off, run other programs, etc... and so far I have seen no problems with anything else going wrong with my computer.  Boy, that article put the fear of God in me, though.  LOL.  Whew... Anyway, thank you for all the helpful information you've provided. I really appreciate it.

Just wanted to let you know that I read your column about AOL6.0 And to tell you the truth I am one of those one's who have not had a problem. except my address book updates alot.  that's it.  Thank You

Hmmm, well, I d/l AOL 6.0 and after reading your email, I sorta wish I hadn't. I deleted AOL 5.0 off my system completely after I checked to make sure everything was there and worked.  So far, I have had no problems! Just wanted to let you know!

I downloaded AOL 6.0 Monday night and I've had no major problems.  I have discovered some of the little things you have mentioned, like the buddy list not updating and the connect speed.  I have more trouble connecting than I did with AOL 5.0.  I have not had any problems accessing the internet and this installation got rid of the illegal operation and crashes I was getting at 2 web sites.  All in all I like AOL 6.0, but I do intend to make a few suggestions as soon as I figure out where to send them.

So far so good.......I down loaded from the internet site instead of directly from my AOL upgrade site.  So far no problems, been using it for about 4 days now.

Dan I have 6.0 and haven't experienced any problems .....yet.  I'll keep you posted 

HEY, I WAS IN THE BETA TESTING ALSO........I HAD PROBLEMS AT FIRST.......BUT I FIGURED THEM OUT......I HAVE THE NEW 6 AND IT IS DOING REALLY GOOD (SO FAR) BUT I AGREE WITH MOST OF THE STUFF U SAID.......BUT AS OF NOW, ITS NOT ACTING UP AND HOPEFULLY IT WONT...........WRITE ME BACK
