Hi Gang! Often I get asked How I do what I do, and what programs I use to make my on-line time more productive, and more fun. I've been on computers a great many years, and frankly, I have programs to do most everything. My main programs have programs. The only thing without a shell around it is me. Since you all have the "Danny's Junk" CD, this is kind of redundant to you. .

My Pinball game does that, it turns the wav volume all the way up.
It also uses the CD volume that it doesn't change. Then when I'm done with the
game, and get back on line, the wav volume blows me across the room!
And believe me, with a set of Monsoon Planer speakers with a sub woofer,
that's a lot of blowing! LOL

This program is a blessing for keeping your Ram compressed. The amount of system lockups you experience, and crashes, will significantly drop, once you install this on your system. It has received numerous awards. A "Can't Live Without It" program. For a complete description on this product, go to my page "System Crashes, Pt.2." This particular program is no longer published, so I uploaded it to my server just for you.
Win Amp is a nice player, it does some things that the windows media player, and Real player's can't do. It'll play compressed wav's and mp3 audio. Win Amp allows you to make play lists, just like a CD player. It's really nice. Put on your task bar. It's Free!

Quicktime is actually an apple program. It has become the defacto media program for the Internet. You may be listening to this music because of it. And, if you don't hear the music. Make this your first stop today. QuickTime has much better sound quality then Media Player.

Spend too much time on you PC? Who doesn't, Big Ben makes your PC chime the Westminster Abby Chimes. (you know, like a grandfather clock) This really assists me in knowing to look at the time. Even though it's on the darned screen anyway, I never seem to keep track of it. It's FREE!
This Program is on my server. This is a little program that automatically cleans all the crap that always seems to be on Internet mail. You know, the <<<'s? And it realigns the margins, and pulls all the spaces out. It's a "can't live without" program. (Trust me on this one.) So stop forwarding all that internet junk, with the 5000 addresses. Load the message into your clipboard, let text cleaner do it's stuff, and send on a new mail. Believe me, your friends, and I! Will certainly appreciate it. Keep it on your task bar and use it the few times you need it. And, it's from me. Free!
This is on my server. It's a freeware program that will take any list, and put it in alphabetical order. I use it for my mailing list. And it's from me, It's Free!
This freeware program is a great graphics viewer. It supports almost any format. What I like about it, and use it for, is it's slide show feature. You can take any folder of pictures, and it'll do a full size slide show for you. (With music) This is much better than AOL's "Picture Viewer" because all the pictures are full size, and it flips through them automatically. Great program. And It's Free!

The program I couldn't live without: Cliptrakker puts an icon in your tray. If you use your clipboard a lot. You know that it's one at a time deal. When you copy something to your clipboard, it deletes whatever was in it before. Clip Trakker keeps track of your clipboard. You can make whole file folders for it. Example, I have separate folders for Danny's Daily's, (all my daily's templates) Jokes, Blonde jokes, etc etc. and ALL just two clicks away. Saves on all the file/ open, and searching that you would normally have to do. It even keeps pictures in the clipboard. The cheapest 25 bucks I've ever spent. Free for 30 days. An absolute MUST if you manipulate many graphics or files at the same time. If you are a Web Master, Joke Master, or a List Master, you MUST try this; your life will never be the same. REALLY!

lived without it. I couldn't do Danny's Daily's without it!
This is an Aol shell. I use Wavman for chat rooms. And Terminator for answering the Aol clocks. Wavman allows you to send wav files to any chat room, chat room buster, (gets you in when the room is full) buddy chat dismisser, kill the hour glass, and much much more. But unlike Powertools, it's very easy to learn. Terminator, answers all the Aol clocks, so you can take a pee, without Aol bumping you off. I highly recommend both programs. 1st 30 days are free. New on Wavman is tabbed IM's, once you experience this, you'll be hooked, and wonder why AOL hasn't done this itself. I think Wavman is about 15 bucks, and Terminator is around 10.

This program is named PowerSS. What this does is put a tray icon in your system tray. Right click on it, and it gives you a menu for your screensaver. You can set a new screensaver, turn it off, turn it on, shut it off for 1/2 hr, 1 hr. etc. All one click away. This program is very useful for long downloads, defrags, etc. If your screensaver kicks on, any AOL clock terminator program you have won't work: So, you can shut off your screensaver, do your long download, and not worry about AOL bumping you off. I like the fact that you can set up your screensavers randomly. (I have 7) I couldn't live without it. It's very handy when you do a disc defrag. Your screensaver messes that up, as well. No more having to go to the control panel to disable it. It's about 9 bucks.
Polyhedric Software (Title; Acid Wav) This is a program I use to record wav files from CD. Not only does it make the windows wav recorder look sick, but it has many more features. My favorite is that it has no time limit on 16 bit stereo Cd quality wav's. Just too many features to list. Very high learning curve though.
