When Only The Best! Will Do... Privacy Policy
Well Gang, it's time for an official privacy policy. You will have a little help from your friend Danny. This is really easy to write: The bottom line is you have absolute privacy on my mailing lists. But let me explain: If you are on my mailing lists, your screen names will not be sold or given to anyone. Period! The Dan Daily Sites put no cookies on your computer. Your screen names in email is all sent BCC. What is that? That means NO scanner will EVER see your screen name! No spam because of me! But, I have to keep a handle on my web site. I do use Web Stats web statistics so I can keep an accurate handle on my visitors. Web Stats does put a cookie on your computer. They have no idea who you are. If you're from AOL? That's all they know. The same thing with any ISP. They only know where you came from, not who you are. There is no need to worry about them. More on Web Stats below. Inner Circle Members: The same thing applies. Your name, addresses and screen names are all secure with me. No one, and I mean NO ONE! Will ever have access to your private information. Your proper mailing addresses aren't even kept on this computer! But, this computer is secure. I use "State of the Art" firewall hardware and Zone Alarm software to protect the mailing lists. She's never been hacked! For additional security for the mailing lists, I use AOL email. The most secure in the business! I pay extra for all this "stuff" just for your security and you can take that to the bank!!! You Have My Word On It!

About Web Stats: Web Stats is a private company that allows me to know just about every detail about what is viewed, how many times and what systems are being used to visit my pages. That's all it finds out about you. It's much more then just a counter. Why This is Important: The knowledge I get from Web Stats helps in many ways and I couldn't do this without it. It tells me the versions of browsers you use: This allows me to custom tailor my pages for your browser. It gives me the ability to make sure you see exactly what I want you to see, in the way it was meant to be seen. Inner Circle Members don't have to worry about this: Your site is on a separate account. But, the "Mission" is the free sites, make NO mistake about it! The members sites supports it: That's the ONLY reason it's there... You have no idea how scary it is to see a page become special and watch it get 20,000 pages views the very first day! Just that ONE page!!! That's some scary stuff gang... Really! You lose sleep worrying about what the bandwidth costs are going to be. If a major site refers me, the free hit count can quite easily get out of control. Maintaining a consistent Pay to Free hit ratio is vital for continued growth. More then once, Web Stats has given me the knowledge of who to call to get my link taken down. I'm not looking to "Conquer the World" unless the World will support it. Quite the contrary: I find the "World" is quite content to run you into bankruptcy. This is reality, not fiction! This information is invaluable and the main reason I use the service at all. Free counters WON'T give me this knowledge! This is what keeps us financially healthy. Really! The service is very expensive, but absolutely vital in telling me what I need to know; about what you want, how to give it to you, and being here tomorrow TO give it to you.
