Yes, and thanks so much.  The God's work theme came last when I finalized the page.  I actually had never thought about the connection until it first ran.  It was still in the technical stage:  You don't have a theme if you don't know it'll even work...  Anyway, I saw it and said, "huh, what's the title on that page?"  And was delighted it didn't have one yet.  The first time I viewed it God's handiwork was so obvious.  His Power, his might.  Our insignificance!  His beauty, it's all there!!!  Wow...

Wanna Get Technical?

I was shooting for a longer, controlled load time. Normally, you go for the shortest load time possible but I didn't in this case:  I wouldn't sacrifice the picture quality and 12 large pictures is quite a bit.  (they are all over a foot wide!)  But, at the same time, I wanted a much more complex page in full streaming Java.  I wanted to see about a 3 minute load time on a modem. (one rotation gets it up to speed) It ranged 2 to 4 minutes with the high at an amazing 15 minutes!  The poor dear let it go that long!  Wow!  Are my readers fanatics or what?  Gosh, How I Love You Members!  You're the believers!..

I lucked out and was right on target!  So I went further with the main page in complexity:  I actually peal the pictures on four planes, in two separate variables, in eight different directions on this page.  Very complex.  It's a hoot!  Watch for it next time!  I LOVE this Shit!!!  Also, I created a special page for small 15 inch monitors.  15s are most likely to be on modems, so I downsized the real size of the pictures.  Not just the display size.  If your 15 is set at 800x600 resolution it completely fills the screen but not past it!

I don't know if you have a big screen or not; I have a 19 and the large version fills it up!  hence, "Awesome Pictures."  That's the only way to describe it...

I can do these pages for the pay site because I can control how many people view them.  They are quite large, 150,000 hits on it would ruin me.  

No lie...  I wish it were a lie...  

The file size is 1.71 megs large per load.  (viewing both versions)  And Java has to reload with every view.  If you were to multiply that by 150,000 views from the free site, it would translate into 257 gigs of bandwidth.  I'm allowed 30.  That's twice what my server people get in total and they have over 200 Domains!  See what I mean?  It would cost me 2,265 dollars in extra bandwidth if that all came to pass.  (and it would)  This is the tight rope The Dan Daily Sites walks.  The tight rope that ALL Web Sites Walk.  Though the "Everything for Free" crowd may choose not to understand this, fortunately I do.  My work can be quite elaborate when I'm allowed and I will be around tomorrow... 

Here on the members site, I can pull out all the stops and go as far as my learning and yearning can take me.  That is how I got this far after all...  Here, for the first time, with this page; I finally have the chance to say, "I Did It My Way!!!"

Impossible on the free site, but really nice in this venue.  It's nice to have a venue to do it in at all.  The Sept. 11th Aftermath site just Killed me because of the blending pictures, thank god they were small.  (I didn't realize at that time)  Here, I'm safe and can keep going.  Who knows what's next?  We'll see...
