We Lost Our Dearest Blood, We Shall Remember...

We all know the events that have taken place in our beloved country: Now is a time to give thanks and prayers. "Thanks?" you ask? Yes, Thanks; there are many reasons to be thankful in this awful aftermath.

No matter who your god or deity is, there are plenty of reasons to give thanks to him/her or them. I am a Christian so I will use my God.

In Our Hour of Sorrow,

I Want to Thank You Lord;

Thank you for saving my life in this tragedy. Even though not close; I felt so vulnerable, so shocked; like someone burned my house down; my world. "Imagine..."

Thank you for the genius architects that, in the 1970s, created two buildings with the thought that they must withstand the crash of a 707 airliner. Though they never could have imagined the fate their beloved "World Trade Center" would be forced to endure, and finally succumb to... Their superior foresight allowed tens of thousands of people to escape from these buildings. They were damaged WAY beyond the point of stress before collapsing. These are truly the unsung heroes of the day. "Imagine..."

"Imagine..." Thank you for the dedicated workers that strove to do no more than to save other peoples lives... and lost theirs in the process. It takes a very special kind of person to deal with the horror they have to deal with. Thank you for them; I'm weak, I could never do it. May their efforts please be rewarded in heaven.

Thank you for waking up America. All these years of prosperity have seemingly made us weak in the eyes of the world. This is incorrect of course, it seems the Japanese lesson has to be learned all over again. "Imagine..." Please grant us the strength to teach that lesson.

Thank you for allowing us, for so many years, to argue about social security trust funds. We forgot how lucky we were to have the luxury of such trivial arguments. Now, the people see the "real" picture; what's really important. We're not White, Black, Yellow, or Red Americans: Were Americans!!! The young, the old; now see what makes a Nation: Unity! At least for now... "Imagine..."

Please give comfort to those directly, and indirectly affected with fear, unease, sorrow; and for some, pure terror. We will all live, we need the strength to carry on with our lives.

Lord, please grant me comfort as well... How many are ours at the "Danny's Daily's" and "Living With Your Computer" web sites? I know so many thousands! How many will I never hear from again?.. These are the dark times for your List Master named Danny... Please grant me the strength to give my people laughter at "Danny's Daily's;" to help ease the pain.

Please grant my prayer for the deceased; to all the unwitting martyrs who were lost in the airplanes and buildings. They were, like so many times in history, the totally innocent. They come from many nations around the world and have many different gods. Please grant them your peace.

Please grant my prayer for wisdom to our leaders. We ask that they do not blindly strike out in a moment of anger and bloodlust, further destroying more innocent lives and families. May they find and EXTERMINATE the perpetrators of this nightmare; which has been unleashed on us.

Please grant my prayer that we will NEVER forget this! That as a nation, we will realize beyond a shadow of a doubt that good and evil really do exist in this world; not psychoanalysis. And we will never cease in the quest to rid the world of it...

Please grant my prayer that we will never have to be reminded of these many things in this way again.

And Finally,

Please my dear Father; never let my innocence be so spoiled that I can no longer "Imagine" what it would be like if the World really were "as one." Full of Love and Compassion, may we be able to teach the world Father...

And to those that are laughing; those who would kill us, those that actually believe they could defeat us. You animals could have never done this without using the technology that we created against us. What do you create besides hate and death? Apparently you don't know history and have no clue who the American People really are.
